Oats Green & Lemon Balm Nervine Tincture (50ml)

Two sweet, moistening and nourishing nervine herbs from my garden.

These plants combined act to calm the nervous system gently, and support restoration of the system with a mild sedative action via Lemon Balm.

Use for supporting anxiety, melancholy, fatigue, restlessness, irritability, panic attacks, emotional stress, sensitive hyperactive nervous systems, insomnia, nervous headaches, dizziness. The carminative and antispasmodic actions of Lemon Balm may support when experiencing heartburn, indigestion and nausea.

In-vivo: There is good clinical evidence for the use of Lemon Balm in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. It improved cognitive function and reduced agitation in patients with mild to moderate forms of the disease (Fisher, 2009).

Strength: Tincture (1:5) 40%

Dosage: 1-3ml with water or directly under the tongue as needed. max daily dose 10ml

Contains: Homegrown Oats Green & Oats Seed (Avena sativa), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), 40% Alcohol. (Oats green and seed include the area parts, including seed at immature, milky, and mature stages).

Safety: Not safe for pregnancy or children.

Caution: Lemon Balm: Some caution for hyperthyroidism. Consult a herbalist or health professional before use.

Oats Green: Grain contains avenin, a gluten fraction and can result in symptoms of gluten-sensitive and Coeliac disease sufferers.  Alcohol extract should not cause a reaction, however, avoid if highly sensitive or included at low dosage (Garsed & Scott, 2007 as cited in Fisher, 2018).
