Wild Rose Tincture (Various sizes)

from $23.00

Wild rose (Rosa acicularis) harvested in December 2024 at Fair Harvest farm.

This delightful and beautifully aromatic rose is revered throughout the Levant Region as a grandmotherly medicine that ‘addresses the soul’ (Ibn Sinna).

Traditionally revered for supporting the heart through grief and heartache, fear, melancholy and worry.

Roses are cooling, sour, astringent with anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and nervine actions.

Rose is helpful for upper respiratory congestion in the nose, throat, mouth, sinus and bronchi as it helps to reduce inflammations and cool irritated tissues. Rose also may be used to break up dry mucus congestion and aid sore throats while also helping to reduce runny secretions due to its astringent action.

Medicinal Uses:

Irregularities in the rhythm of the heart, mental restlessness, excess nervous system stimulation (leading to sleep difficult), stress, worry and high blood pressure.

Red flushing of the skin, headaches and other general heat signs (aversion to warm weather, excessive sweating, irritability, inflammation.)

Slow digestion, diarrhoea, upper respiratory congestion, irritating cough.

Dosage: 1-2 ml (20-40 drops) up to three times a day as desired. Directly under tongue or in water.

Caution: Caution during kidney disease, breastfeeding & pregnancy.

These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease and have not been evaluated by the TGA.
