About the facilitator:
Tamara is a student herbalist, herb grower, maker and workshop facilitator based on Wardandi Noongar Boodjar.
My recent approach to herbalism is informed by Health Science studies and various grass-roots herbal medicine-making courses over the past 5 years, as well as curiosity surrounding themes of herbal ritual for a personal connection to land, and community herbalism. Through these workshops, I aim to highlight the importance of learner-centred learning, skill sharing, personal connection to plants for healing, community sufficiency building, and the joy that slow and simple home herbalism can bring to our daily lives.
